Conceptual Framework: My artworks are constructed with intricate and detailed elements, giving them a sculptural appearance. My intend is to challenge viewers to perceive these compositions as a cohesive whole while also enticing them to delve deeper and discover hidden surprises.
As a creator, I love to add subtle, almost concealed elements into my works, serving as secret treasures awaiting to be discovered. I take pleasure in developing intermediate forms that exist between the known and the unknown, evoking a sense of ambiguity. These intermediate forms are on the cusp of completion, allowing each individual’s imagination to fill in the gaps and shape them as they please. By placing elements in a certain way I aim to evoke the psychological phenomenon known as pareidolia. This phenomenon compels individuals to perceive patterns or human characteristics in random stimuli. I encourage viewers to observe my art as both a unified composition and as individual components, granting them the freedom to interpret and appreciate the imagery in their own unique way.
I find solace in the allure of symmetry and try to evoke an elegant, dark, and stylish universe that can be perceived as a unified whole. There can be found subtle symbolism in my pieces, which are otherworldy and somtimes vaguely threatening. I leave it to the viewers to interpret my art and invite them to ponder whether it resembles the depths of the human psyche, an embodiment of dark archetypes visualized within a chaotic and formless realm, or perhaps an interdimensional cosmological horror transcending human understanding.

Medium and Techniques: In my creative process, I incorporate hand drawn elements, fragments from my personal photo collection as well as stock photos, carefully selecting and cutting out small pieces to assemble into a new composition. These elements are seamlessly merged and manipulated using various digital techniques. Images are painted over, distorted, infused by textures, merged and blended to a harmonious whole. The work process shares similarities with photobashing, collage and digital painting techniques. The projects are always built up out of more than 500 layers, and there are compositions that almost are build up out of 2000 layers in total.
